Here Lives A Corpse (Here Lies #1)

My Madness Level : Strong Madness

How much of a Madness :  I devoured it in one night.

What brings the Madness :

  • The reverse harem, I rarely read this type of relationship, but it’s not your typical reverse harem, it’s a relationship between bullies and the victims, yup it’s complicated and distubing but I like it ahahahhaha.
  • The suspense mystery, the journey to find out who killed Cassidy, the secrets behind it.
  • The drama…it’s an academy like a high school, so drama is always happening.
  • The hot bullies boys, they’re all crazy but has their own charms, they’re so cruel yet so attractive, well we always love bad boys, right?!?!.

What Madness I don’t like :  The contradictions, one minute they bullied her, the next minute they’re kissing, one minute she’s taunting them, the next minute she’s shaking in fear, she’s scared yet so horny and it’s hard to believe that that kind of academy exist, I know it’s a fiction but it’s too unbelieveable, the academy is too corrupt, drugs, sex, the intimidation of a group, the affairs, yup you name it, it’s there.

Level of this Madness Recommendation : IT’S DARK, TWISTED AND SOOO COMPLICATED AND YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK.

My Madness Review : Goodreads

The Blurb :

Life doesn’t promise anything but existence.
Losing Cass proved that.
Everyone thinks I’m crazy.
Corpse.
Freak.
Vampire.
They called me the one who never overcame the loss of her brother,
the outcast, the least likely to succeed.
But what about their lies?
He jumped. He wanted to die. He killed himself.
When will they stop?
Unraveling the secrets they founded this town with seems impossible.
Detangling the bloodlines that weave the very essence of
Arcadia Crest might actually kill me.
Forgetting the little details I’ve erased from my memories as
a result of love could be the catalyst of my entire story.
Death brought me hatred.
Hatred drove me to them.
They touched me only in secret.
All stories end in blood, but an oath was never part of that equation.
